The main character. Corvus is the perfect all-rounder. Good speed, high intelligence for solving puzzles, and can intimidate smaller birds. The best choice for new players.
Aquila (Eagle)
The apex predator. Unmatched combat ability and incredible top speed in a dive. Slower on the ascent and can't navigate tight spaces easily. For players who want to dominate the skies.
Scolopax (American Woodcock)
**UNLOCKABLE**
A fan-favorite requested since BG2. The Woodcock is a ground-based bird with a unique "sky dance" ability that can confuse predators. Not great in a direct fight, but a master of escape.
??? (The Special Bird)
**LEGENDARY UNLOCKABLE**
Rumored to be unlocked by completing the game 100%. This bird is said to be "very fast," breaking the sound barrier and allowing you to traverse the entire map in seconds. No one has confirmed how to get it yet.
